A Constellation is a selection of projects that have been collected together because of the opportunities they present to maximize long-term induced positive impact when linked together.
Below are three examples of Constellation Proposals. These constellations are grouped by sector, location, and regional potential of complementary projects, respectively. Projects listed in the Constellation Proposals below pull projects from the ASCENT project database.
Access to funded project information combined with local knowledge of projects and assets facilitates the opportunity to identify, connect, and coordinate opportunities created by the projects.
Once linkages and opportunities are identified, an action plan could be developed to realize them, thus extending and maximizing the impact of the initial investment while simultaneously reducing the costs of project implementation realized through the initial project bundling.
The plan developed through the ASCENT dialogue process, which is used to realize the opportunities that are generated by a Constellation, is defined as an ASCENT Action Plan.
